Auricular Acupressure

Arucular Acupressure was first documented by the French neuroscientist Paul Nogier. It is similar to acupuncture in that the nervous system of the body is mirrored onto the ears. Acupressure, however, is non-invasive and can be used to complement other therapies or as a stand alone treatment on its own. The ear itself can be used as a microsytem which can affect various symptoms in the body, physical, mental and psychological. It has been used by the US Military to treat pain, insomnia and trauma experienced in war zones.
